This  installation features three illuminated boxes displaying colorful abstract  images — portals to magical worlds. By printing the images on transparent  surfaces and backlighting them, the artist reveals layers of depth that place  the artwork in an undefined space — an abstract, unstructured universe. The  installation is suggestive of the two aspects of space: the imaginative,  distant and intangible, juxtaposed with the material, tangible and earthly.  These pieces invite viewers to explore alternative, subjective and  associative spaces, guided by the power of imagination. The spaces within  these boxes defy conventional meaning or logic, projecting themselves  outward.
